Q. Who is TriTec aimed at?
TriTec is aimed at the Micro/Small business market and generally businesses with a turnover of under 2 million. It doesn’t matter if you are registered company, partnership or soletrader but you must be GST registered and have a payment basis business.
TriTec nfp is available for any not for profit organisation. There are no prerequisites for this process.
Q. What is the benefit for me?
The benefits for you are simple. You will save time each month that could be put to better use than sorting out your accounting worries. You will have piece of mind knowing your accounting needs are all being taken care of. The amount of paperwork cluttering up your office will dramatically reduce with it all being compacted into one electronic report. The biggest benefit though is that you will save money.
Q. Is it a software program?
TriTec does involve the use of a small software program. You are not required to purchase any special software or incur any additional software fees as we provide the software free of charge. In addition any updates or enhancements to the software are provided free of charge also.
Q. Do I need a computer?
You must have a computer as all information will be supplied via email and also for the software that we provide to you upon confirmation of your contract.
Q. Is there a set up cost?
There is no set up cost for TriTec. You simply pay the specified amount each month.
Q. How long will it take each month?
The time is very dependent upon each individual client and their skill level. On average the completion of the TriTec data from the time that you receive it to the time that you send it back to us is approximately 15 minutes and in some cases a lot less.
Q. Do I get training?
We will supply you with a Training CD explaining about how TriTec works. The CD will include comprehensive training which takes you step by step through the entire TriTec process including what you need to do each month to supply us with the data needed to produce your monthly reports, how to use the software and how to interpret the financial reports that we send you.
Q. Is my information secure?
Yes the only people that have access to your information is yourself and ourselves. Your information is not provided to any third party and we maintain the highest standards of confidentiality.
Q. Do I need to be GST registered?
If you are signing on for our business TriTec process then you must be GST registered for one monthly GST.
For TriTec nfp we realise a lot of not for profit organisations will not be GST registered and therefore there is no condition that you must be for this process to work for you.
Q. Has IRD approved TriTec?
IRD can’t and do not endorse any products. But with over 8000 GST returns filed through our TriTec process a number have been audited with no negative comments. In fact we have had complimentary opinions from independent auditors.
Q. How do I get assistance from accountants if required?
Our accounting team is available at any time to answer your questions and concerns each month. You can contact us through all the usual mediums of communication. Email, phone, in person or through skype. We endeavour to answer all queries within the same business day.
